Users that had no issue were using an English version of Microsoft Teams, while users that have the issue are using anything but English: So it took me a while searching through the logs for a possible cause, trying different machines, all had the same behavior, then I saw it, the localization looking me in the eyes □ Screenshot of affected user’s client log: Screenshot of unaffected user’s client logs: The customer complained, that some users can see the option to “Make a Test Call” under their client’s settings, and some can’t.Īfter examining the log files (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+1) I see that all affected clients are using the same client version and are on the General ring. I had a case with a customer, that was interesting and thought to share it with you. UPDATE : This issue is actually a feature and by design, the BOT responsible for test call, is not available in other languages except English, that’s why the button is removed in other languages, to avoid confusing the users.
